Fizoptika fiber optic gyroscopes (FOGs) are used all over the world as embedded devices by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or as stand-alone sensors for testing and measurement to provide critical monitoring, feedback and control input. Our innovative technologies enable the customers to enhance their overall system performance by significantly reducing the size and weight of their products as well as manufacturing costs.

Originally established in 1989, Fizoptika now operates a production facility of over 3000 m2 in Malta (EU), providing a complete service for international customers – manufacturing, customer tailoring, specific testing and warranty support.

Fizoptika is proud to produce the world’s smallest 18-gram high precision FOG for manned and unmanned vehicle navigation, pipe-mapping, north-finding, night vision, thermal imaging, aircraft-mounted gimbaled cameras, etc.

Based on the exceptional spliceless 40µ optical fiber platform Fizoptika gyroscopes feature outstanding 10-yr MTBF reliability and 1 200g shock endurance. They operate from -60°C to +125°C without sacrificing performance.

Optoquest offers not only optical products, such as polarization controller, wavelength tunable filter, and extinction ratio analyzer but optical engineering services. Optoquest is developing optical fiber gyroscope for space application with our parent company, Yazaki, and commercial production of inertial grade is advanced.
